Help the Puppy Mill Midland Westies

Westie Rescue Michigan rescued six westies from the Midland Puppy Mill that has been an emotional and conflictual issue since Decembermber 2014. Finally, through much negotiation, research and legwork from volunteers in the Westie Rescue Michigan and others, the owners decided to surrender all the outdoor dogs in the rabbit hutches. The dogs suffered in -5 below temperatures at night. They lived on wire fencing. They need vet care. All six dogs that we rescued need vaccines (rabies, lepto/distemper, bordatella), a deworming, a complete vet examination, bloodwork, fecal and heartworm tests, flea medication, heartworm medication, special shampoo for skin and yeast infections, grooming, a dental and a nice round of antibiotics. We will also microchip and spay these mill dogs.

We have worked hard to finally get these dogs into care. Please help us by donating towards helping those dogs. We anticipate about 1,000-1,500 per dog to get the dog into an adoptable and healthy state. Please do what you can. No amount is too small. Please help us help them.
