Restoration for Wickes Park

My name is Hosiea Ransom. My friend Robert Burrell and other concerned people in the community would like to see Wickes Park cleaned up and restored to its former glory. I'm quite sure this park holds a lot of memories in your hearts as well as in mine from childhood to adult age. This park has the capability to be great and offers a multitude of activites for children,teens, and adults alike including: basketball, football,baseball,car shows,soccer,playgrounds,boating,fishing,jogging,biking and even family events. The money that is raised will help go to utilities,groundskeeping,plumbing,paving,and cosmetic repairs. We are asking you to donate any time,money, or resources you have or know about. This is an opportunity to get people off of the streets and give them a safe environment to do something positive in their free time,as well as something for future generations to enjoy. You can donate as soon as you like and as much as you like. Restoring this park would mean so much to so many people in the community as well as the City of Saginaw by showing them we still care and we want to do what we can for each other,the community and the City of Saginaw. Myself and others would be beyond thankful if we can get the help we need to bring this park back to life. I thank you in advance for any help you can bring our way.
