The Urban Ninja Project is a not-for-profit community organization focused on promoting an active lifestyle in kids and adults thru obstacle courses and various movement classes.
Right now, our gym has no heat! While our $5 drop-in fees cover our instructors, insurance, rental expenses, and other operating expenses, we rely on donations from our community to make our facility better.
Winter is approaching and we would absolutely LOVE to have a warm gym to train in so we don't have to close for the season :).
All money donated will go directly to the purchasing and installing of the heating system. Anything over will go towards paying our heating bills, building a parent's lounge, and building more awesome obstacles like the spider wall or the trampoline quintuple steps.
We greatly appreciate each and every donation, big or small!
OUR MISSION:
In a time when school districts are cutting physical education and arts programs while more and more kids are lured towards the latest technologies, TV shows, and video games, our communities are left to deal with a growing epidemic of preventable diseases caused by our sedentary lifestyles, poor nutrition and the ever-increasing sources of stress.
We aim to encourage people of all ages and sizes to move, play, and challenge themselves by providing a fun, safe, yet competitive fitness environment.
To date, we have created an affordable fitness facility with a wide offering of movement classes for kids and adults. We host meet and greets with athletes and local celebrities, birthday parties, summer camps, and events for large groups. We organize events for the public such as our Halloween Nerf wars, Ninja Christmas, or the Urban Ninaj Obstacle Challenge.
With our team of young, energetic, and creative instructors, we will continue to innovate and inspire our community to play and stay active.
