The Anatomy Of... is a duo made up of best friends Dan Smith & Nick Glass. We are excited to be recording the follow up to our self-titled 2014 album, and we need your help!
We met in September of 2011, up in Duluth, Minnesota. We jammed and hit it off right away. The Anatomy Of... was born organically and still thrives as two guys trying to make music that matters.
This album is important to us in many ways. Dan wrote a majority of the songs in his late stages of active addiction, and during his fight to reclaim his life and recover. The battles with addiction are represented from Dan's perspective and some are masked behind stories of characters he's created. He has nearly reached his 2nd completed year of abstinence from all substances and is happier than ever.
The reason we are running this campaign is to pay for Vinyl, CDs, Merchandise, and musicians to feature on the album. All fees related to production have been taken care of and we're in full blown work mode. We want to have really high quality merchandise for our listeners because you deserve it!
This album has a lot to say and we feel like it is highly relatable for people from all walks of life. Any amount you can pitch in is very much appreciated and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
