Tanya was recently diagonosed with Amyloidosis. (Amyloidosis (am-uh-loi-DO-sis) is a rare disease that occurs when a substance called amyloid builds up in your organs. Amyloid is an abnormal protein that is usually produced in your bone marrow and can be deposited in any tissue or organ.)
She recently returned from Mayo Clinic and will be receiving chemo treatments in Bismarck. She will be going back to May in January or February for a stem cell transplant. This will require her to stay at Mayo for 4-6 weeks.
Tanya is an amazing person. Those who know her will tell you she would give up everthing just to help someone. Tanya is employed with State of North Dakota. Her husband, Bob, is an associate Pastor at Prairie Family Church. They have 2 grown sons and 1 grandson.
