St. Helena Fireworks Show 2015/16!

We reached our goal of $45,000 for the 2015 fireworks thanks to your support! With so much momentum gained and support continuing, we thought we would harness the energy and continue fundraising for next year! Every dollar will go directly to the fireworks show.

St. Helena will celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show in a new location this year.  Centered in the middle of town at Crane Park and less than a mile from last year’s spot, the show will be visible to revelers throughout St. Helena and enable parts of the park to be used as a viewing site.    

The City of St. Helena Parks and Recreation Department will host the event but donations are still needed this year.  The Parks and Recreation Department along with the St. Helena Fire Department will plan the logistics and work with the fireworks company to ensure everyone’s safety comes first so that we can all enjoy the holiday.

Until last year, the fireworks show was held on the south end of town and paid for by three wineries - Sutter Home, Louis M. Martini and Prager.  Last year, the fireworks show was put on by many sponsor businesses in the community, individual donors and the Chamber of Commerce.  This year, we hope to develop a plan to sustain the show for years to come.

To donate via check, make checks payable to “City of St. Helena, Parks and Rec Dept."  Add "Fireworks 2015" to the memo line and mail to 1480 Main Street, St. Helena, CA 94574.

The Committee not only hopes to raise enough money for this year’s show, but also build a sustaining fund for future 4th of July fireworks shows.
