Hello friends, deadheads, and coworkers,
This is the GoFundMe account for Steve McGonegal's Stage Four Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. We are asking that friends and family donate any amount that they can -$100, $200, $1000, any amount would help wonders. As we all know, cancer treatment and care are expensive. Health insurance barely covers a tenth of the expenses that are incurred. Steve needs all the help he can get. Steve needs money for a homecaretaker (at mininum costs $50 grand a year), help with procedures (radiation, chemotherapy, physical therapy, etc.), experimental treatments (upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars).
Steve is unable to work right now. He currently is partially paralyzed on his right side and is unable to get up and move around by himself. His leave will soon be exhausted and he will move onto disability.
Steve has always been there for us -graduations, weddings, concerts, work events, you name it he was there. We are now asking that you are now here for him. We want Steve to be back in action -telling jokes, giving guidance, and hosting parties! Let's get him back on his feet and smiling!
