Stacey's Pegum's Medical Fund

Stacey is mom to Grayson, 2 and Susanna, 1, wife to Don, and friend to many.  She is kind and generous and compassionate and right now she is facing  a very serious and rare medical crisis.



Stacey was recently diagnosed with a muscular disorder called Myasthenia Gravis.  However, further testing revealed growths on both her liver and thymus, leading Stacey and her medical team to believe that the muscular symptoms are the result of an underlying condition, possible a rare form of cancer.




Stacey is scheduled for surgery on June 19th to remove and biopsy the tumors on her liver.  This will be followed by an open chest surgery to remove her thymus gland, further treatment plans will likely be decided upon pending the result of these biopsys.

Stacey, a self employed massage therapist, has been forced to stop working due to these medical issues.  While there is a large benefit planned for August, her young family will be under immediate financial stress as they manage mounting hospital and travel costs.
