Child Custody Legal Fees

Gonna keep it short and simple. Just got out of a 5 year abusive relationship. We have a beautiful 4 year old special needs daughter named Sophia Grace Randa. who has been through so much in her life and doesn’t need to be going through a custody battle/divorce on top of it. Unfortunately her mother is mentally unstable and this is the 3rd or 4th time she was supposed to go inpatient after getting hospitalized last week. But instead of that her family tried to take her and Sophia back to Illinois so she could go to church for treatment. After that they tried to sneak to Ohio and file for emergency custody on the anniversary of my brothers death when my nieces and nephews are visiting, so I spent the whole day at the court house instead of with them, but I got 100% temporary custody of Sophia until the divorce is over. (First date is July 2nd) Now I have to raise 5k for legal fees and try to work 1-2 jobs to afford the house and utilities because she doesn’t want to help support her daughter and her living area during the trial. (They really just want me to lose the house” If you know me or have been following me on social media. You know that Sophia is the only thing that matters to me and we are inseparable and I’ve worked so hard with her everyday to get her to where she is. Her blood family may have more money than me, but I’ve been playing video games for almost 15 years, and I now have a bigger family than they ever will. I never ask for much and I felt so uncomfortable typing this out and asking for money. But I can’t lose Sophia and she can’t lose me. (She really needs both parents ) She will regress drastically though without me and my only mission on this earth is to provide the best life possible for my baby. And sometimes you can’t accomplish everything you want on your own, so that’s why I’m reaching out to my family for their support when Sophia and I need it most. Anything extra will go further development of her Sensory Room and her Seizure Relief dog. I appreciate you all for taking the time to read this, if you don’t have money that’s ok.
