Help Sera go to Lindy Focus! She needs $482 because of a terrible setback. Here’s the full story:
Our dear friend Sera Russell has found herself in a truly lamentable position. A few months ago Sera took work on the Navy base in her hometown of Panama City. Unfortunately, the contracting group that hired her mismanaged the funds and has stopped paying their employees. At this time they owe Sera more than $1,500 in wages, and she has lost even more money trying to deposit checks from this group that bounced instead. Thankfully Sera has more than one job, so her bills are covered, but this has left her in a position where she has no extra money for things like Lindy Focus. Sera is all set to volunteer for her pass at the event, but she could really use our help in covering her travel expenses (gasoline, hotel room, and food). I estimate that her total costs for the event will be $482.46 (calculations included below). Sera is such a wonderful, kind, and caring individual. She’s given so much to so many in the dance community, and she’s always the first to lend a helping hand when someone is down on their luck.
