I have been elected to travel to the July 25th - 28th National Democratic Convention in Philadelphia as a National Delegate in Support of Bernie Sanders and a majority of the Washington Democratic electorate.
This highly sought after position fielded 46,000 candidates state-wide. I was fortunate enough to be elected by fellow delegates from around the state during the May 21, District 16 Caucus. I understand the significance of this once in a life time involvement in this singularly important and historic election year.
I represent Democratic Washington Voters as a delegate who is joining with the many delegate/activists from around the nation at the convention to give force, voice and action to the national demand for open and fair elections, the elimination of political and financial corruption, and the elimination of the two-tiered justice system.
Although I was elected to represent Bernie Sanders, I want you to know I represent all American voters. I see no reason to work along party lines, when those lines no longer exist. Change will only come when those at the top are confronted with feasible alternatives to current U.S. political and financial policies, rules and regulations. I will continue to do the heavy lifting to reclaim our democracy, and welcome your financial support.
Up to this point I gladly used my personal funds to attend our local and district caucuses, and to compete for a position as a national delegate. I have also raised $425.00 toward my trip. Your continued support would greatly reduce my personal expenses related to lodgging, travel and participation in convention.
