Save Liberty Park! Revitalization

Liberty park Media:
Liberty Park located in the heart of Mansfield, Ohio has been open for 87 years! But since 2016, its pool has been closed. That is until this year. The pool reopened in mid-July, closed briefly for some mechanical problems, but is open again as of Friday, July 20.

Recent revitalization projects have transformed the park into one we call can enjoy once again, but there's more to be done. And you can help by donating here. All funds will support Mansfield's Liberty Park.
Volunteer work - Painting of the Main entrance floor.
The park has deteriorated over the years to the point it was shut down. This historical site became blighted and a burden on the city. Vandals haven't been kind to the park either, as the pavilion was destroyed from the inside. Fixtures were broke, walls and doors were covered in spray paint on, and windows were long broken and boarded up.
Liberty Pool Ticket Booth - Vandalized and boarded.
Our goal is to raise enough money to revitalize the park, renovate the pool house and pavilion, and furnish both with more modern fixtures. We are also looking into setting up a passive security system to deter vandalism and crime in the park.
Below you can see recent construction on the pool, including work that was done on the lining and the pump house.

Help us take our park back and make Mansfield's Liberty Park shine again.
Your donations will help with the revitalization of the park via equipment, the renovation of the pool house and pavilion and the addition of a security system.
(The original drawing of Liberty Park's layout featured a amphitheater, currently where the basket ball field is located. Wouldn't it be interesting to see if we can build this feature and have concerts and other events in the park!)
