Superior Police Auxiliary Unit

The Superior Police Auxiliary Unit is a group of 20 volunteers that serve the community by volunteering at over 30 functions annually. Members of this unit volunteer their time assisting with the Police Department and the citizens of the City of Superior. The auxiliary works with traffic control, pedestrian safety, crime and fire scene containment, and much more.
As times have changed, the need for the auxiliary to update their equipment has changed. The auxiliary unit is in need of new hand held radios. The radios are needed for effective communications in all the duties they do, and to have communication with officers of the Superior Police Department and the Douglas County Communication Center. The radios have become very expensive, averaging a cost of $2,500.
Our fundraising goal is $ 5,000.
