The Saipan Cares for Animals Community Outreach Center is a facility located in As Gonno, Saipan, with the mission of providing basic, low-cost animal care to Saipan residents. In addition, we have a small number of wonderful dogs and cats available for adoption!
SCA is a non-profit, and running this facility we are receiving no federal assistance or island grants. We are funding this completely on our own with the minimal amount of money we are making by running the Outreach Center, and are trying to do our best to offer our services at the lowest possible cost while still being able to keep the lights on and the animals fed!
In the future we are hoping the money raised from the clinic will allow us to be self-sustaining, but right now between buying all the medications and utilities and dog and cat food and landscaping, we are turning towards the public who have seen the good works we've done in the last 15 months and hoping to get us some help as we build our momentum!
Our long term goal for the future is this facility will grow to be THE PLACE Saipan residents can turn to for affordable animal care, and that at some point we will have a permanent vet and can offer even greater services at an affordable cost!
