Sunday Assembly Halifax
Sunday Assembly is a worldwide non-religious community group that meets regularly to celebrate life. Our goal is to help everyone live their life to the fullest. Our mottos are Live Better, Help Often and Wonder More. Sunday Assembly Halifax has been holding Assemblies in Halifax, NS for a little over a year. Our speakers have ranged from organizers of local groups such as the Halifax Tool Library, Common Roots Urban Farm and the Halifax Music Coop to professors from Dalhousie, Saint Mary's and Acadia universities.
Right now, the organizational commitee must raise $50 a month to cover the basic necessities required for running an Assembly (room rental fees & refreshments). Some of this comes as small donations from individuals attending an Assembly, but much of this cost has been covered out-of-pocket by the organizing commitee.
We would like to raise $300 to cover the next 6 months of Assemblies so we can continue to build this great community and provide a fun and welcoming environment for all Halifax families!
If you donate at least $20, you can choose one of these pins as a thank you!
Stretch Goals
We would love to do even more to help Haligonians live life to the fullest. If we raise $600, Sunday Assembly Halifax will hold a monthly Pot Luck at Veith House. We will also open a new reward level! With each $45 donation after the $600, you will receive a SA Hfx T-shirt!
