I'm running the length of Japan for tsunami relief efforts. Our adventure begins January 2016. Follow along as I run from the far South of Japan to Tokyo for the marathon in February, then to Fukashima on March 11th - the anniversary of the tsunami - then up to Hokkaido by my birthday in April.

Thank you so much for your support in my RunJapan campaign. Unfortunately I won’t be able to complete my campaign as planned and am returning to the drawing board. In the coming weeks, I’ll be reaching out to each donor via email to coordinate the best method of returning funds. Again, thank you so much for your support and encouragement. I am not giving up on this dream, simply restructuring for a greater chance of success. RunJapan will relaunch in a more comprehensive structure in the near future.

Thank you again, and check your inbox soon for my correspondence.

I've been upping my milage to mimic what I'll be doing in Japan to see how well the body maintains. You can track my progress on Strava http://bit.ly/1sFn7Bx Follow what I'm doing there if you can otherwise check Facebook and Twitter for updates. @AaronWPorter and http://on.fb.me/VTuxO7 respectively. Last week 120 miles - followed by a day off, and 61.1 so far in the last three days.
Cheers!
And thank you for your support!

I'm simulating #RunJapan by running up to 20 or 30 miles daily. Everything is recorded on Starva and shared via Twitter, Facebook and other social media. A new blog will be coming soon as well.
Thank you for all your support. Spread the word: Your crazy friend is training to run the length of Japan for Charity!

Since my #RunJapan project got pushed to next year, I'm going to run the same daily distance to train. (likely in chunks) I'll be doing this while updating the blog, acquiring sponsors and fine tuning the entire campaign.
