Please Help The Rose Family

We have created this GoFundMe page to provide assistance to a valued member of the Smeal College of Business family, Jordan Rose. Jordan and his wife Misty were expecting twins due January 17th. Misty has had a very difficult pregnancy, has been on bed rest and had been hospitalized due to experiencing contractions. Since it was much too early for the twins to be born, the hospital tried a number of different options before Misty's water broke last Monday evening. She was life-flighted to Hershey Medical Center and the twins, Parker Isaac and Paisley Sue were born shortly after midnight. Parker weighed 3.9 pounds and is 15.5 inches long while Paisley weighed in at just 2.1 pounds and 14.75 inches.
Parker and Paisley are improving slowly but have to go through a number of procedures necessary in the NICU for babies born two and a half months early. They've also had some issues with apnea and high billirubin counts. Misty also lost a considerable amount of blood during the emergency c-section and has been recovering slowly. Because the family lives about an hour and a half away from Hershey, they have been able to stay at the Ronald McDonald house close to the hospital. Big brothers Emmett, 4 and Connor, 1 are adjusting to Dad having to travel back and forth and have also been staying at the Ronald McDonald house when possible so they can spend some time with Mom as well. Misty has been staying there so that she can provide breast milk and hold the babies whenever she is allowed to.
We have setup this gofundme page to help Jordan and his family with the costs associated with travel back and forth, medical bills and bills in general as Misty has been unable to work for some time due to being on bedrest. The doctors at the Hershey NICU hope that the babies may be home around Christmas so the costs are going to continue to add up for the Rose family. Jordan has helped so many of us and is such a genuinely kind and caring person and, please know, that anything you are willing to donate would be so greatly appreciated by Jordan, Misty and their family.
