Hello my name is Trina. I am starting this fundraiser for my cousin Rochelle Artis who is terminally ill. Here's Rochelle's story.
My name is Rochelle or "Roro" depending on how well you know me. I am 24 years old and was born with AIDS. I have never let that stop me from living my life to the fullest. Even though I was born a little over 2 lbs and was said that I wouldn't make it past high school, I manage to beat the odds with a college degree in hand. I spent most of my life in and out of the hospital but I am so thankful for the loving family and friends I have had by my side during this so called never ending battle... Until now. I was diagnosed in January of this year with PML (brain disease) and I am now permanently hospitalized. PML has already taken away my ability to walk and even speak. Which is why I am reaching out to all of you for your help. Unfortunately, my time here on this earth is quickly coming to an end. I don't want my family to be left with any financial burdens after my death. I am asking for help to pay for my funeral. Thank you in advance for all of your support and generosity. I will feel better knowing in my passing that I didn't leave this debt behind on my loved ones.
