The world knows Chicago as the killing fields where youth are shot down by police and shoot at each other. The Revolution Club Chicago is out to flip this situation, fighting for people to raise their heads and take up revolution and the cause of human emancipation, for Chicago to become known as the place people are changing what they are living, fighting, and sometimes dying for. Right now, your donations are urgently needed to help make this happen.

There is a system responsible for the hell people are going through. This system, capitalism-imperialism, has no future for the youth and is what causes too many to find meaning in taking revenge on each other. It is the same system that has the planet burning from war and environmental destruction, children being tear-gassed on the border, women and LGBT people debased and denied basic rights, and a white-supremacy-created-hell of poverty and violence for millions of Black and Brown people. This system needs to be overthrown at the soonest possible time, and the Revolution Club is working for that now.

The Revolution Club Chicago is made up of people who are lifting their sights to getting all of humanity free of this nightmare, taking up the leadership, science, strategy and program for revolution, and working now to organize thousands and influence millions for revolution. The Revolution Club lives by and fights for the Points of Attention for the Revolution and connects people up with the leadership we have for making this revolution, Bob Avakian and the new communism he’s developed. When you get into Bob Avakian you get into somebody who not only has brought forward the answers for how do we get out of this mess, but also gets you. When the Revolution Club is introducing people to BA, people are getting connected with leadership that has confidence in them to get out of the dog-eat-dog shit this system has trained us in, and become emancipators of humanity.

The Revolution Club Chicago has been out fighting for this from South Shore and Back of the Yards to Englewood and Humboldt Park, on street corners and in barbershops, and in the streets standing up against the murderous crimes of this system, as well as reaching into other sections of society especially the universities. Fighting the power, and transforming the people, for revolution. Struggling like hell for people caught up in a lot of bullshit to see the hand of the system in this and to lift their sights and come together to fight for the interests of the masses of people all over the world.

Point #4 of the Points of Attention for the Revolution says, “We stand with the most oppressed and never lose sight of their potential to emancipate humanity – nor of our responsibility to lead them to do that. We work to win people of all backgrounds to take part in the revolution, and do not tolerate revenge among the people.”

When you donate to the Revolution Club Chicago, you are making sure the flyers and posters can get printed to spread the word about the revolution and that the books and films of Bob Avakian’s talks and writings are accessible to all. You are making sure there are loudspeakers and displays and banners for having a wide impact in neighborhoods and demonstrations and you are making sure there are Revolution Nothing Less t-shirts for people all over the city to put on when they are ready to represent for the revolution.

When you donate to the Revolution Club Chicago, you are helping to pay the rent on the organizing center in South Shore, you are supporting the full-time volunteers who left their homes and their jobs in different parts of the country to throw all-in on this mission and you are contributing to fighting the legal cases that keep arising from CPD attempts to repress the revolution. When you donate to the Revolution Club Chicago, you are becoming part of networks of support for the revolution, you are part of the development of revolutionary organization and a revolutionary people, you are making a meaningful and much-needed contribution to making an actual revolution.

The Revolution Club upholds, lives by and fights for the following principles:

1 We base ourselves on and strive to represent the highest interests of humanity: revolution and communism. We do not tolerate using the revolution for personal gain.

2 We fight for a world where ALL the chains are broken. Women, men, and differently gendered people are equals and comrades. We do not tolerate physically or verbally abusing women or treating them as sexual objects, nor do we tolerate insults or “jokes” about people’s gender or sexual orientation.

3 We fight for a world without borders, and for equality among different peoples, cultures and languages. We do not tolerate insults, “jokes” or derogatory names about a person’s race, nationality, or language.

4 We stand with the most oppressed and never lose sight of their potential to emancipate humanity—nor of our responsibility to lead them to do that. We work to win people of all backgrounds to take part in the revolution, and do not tolerate revenge among the people.

5 We search for and fight for the truth no matter how unpopular, even as we listen to and learn from the observations, insights and criticisms of others.

6 We are going for an actual overthrow of this system and a whole better way beyond the destructive, vicious conflicts of today between the people. Because we are serious, at this stage we do not initiate violence and we oppose all violence against the people and among the people.

The whole world knows Chicago for two things:

1) People who have the hardest life being targets of outrageous police terror and murder carried out by these pigs acting like an occupying army;

2) The same people who are targeted by all this being caught up in fighting each other.

The world needs to know Chicago for a third thing:

Instead of being looked at as the killing grounds, Chicago needs to become known as the place where people are beginning to raise their heads and take up revolution. The Revolution Club is out to flip the situation this system has people caught up in, to one where Chicago is known throughout the country and the world as a center for revolution.

We are getting people organized into a whole bigger fight against the real enemy: this system and its enforcers.

As our sisters and brothers from Honduras and other countries make their way with their children to the U.S. to seek asylum and the Trump/Pence fascists demonize them and send thousands of troops to the border with orders to shoot to rock-throwers, Revolution Club Chicago has been out among different sections of people, involving people in applying the strategy for revolution.

How We Can Win, the strategy for revolution, says: "We need to oppose and disrupt the moves of the ruling powers to isolate, 'encircle,' brutalize, mass incarcerate and murderously repress the people who have the hardest life under this system and who most need this revolution. We need to 'encircle' them—by bringing forth wave upon wave of people rising up in determined opposition to this system."

People on the south side of Chicago who themselves are among those who have the hardest life under this system, and university students on the other side of town have been finding out about the new film, "Why We Need An Actual Revolution And How We Can Really Make Revolution," and have joined in signing a banner supporting the immigrant caravan. We intend to send this banner to the border.

It says, "From Revolution Club Chicago, We support and welcome the immigrant caravan, Imperialism has caused the hell you flee, Overthrowing this system will get us all free."

People have written very moving messages such as "in solidarity with all sufferers," "let them stay," and "we are with you," and "you are loved," as well as "fuck Trump" and "fuck Fascism" and in Spanish, "No se regresen su hogar esta aqui con nosotros pelearemos por sus derechos humanos, (don't go back your home is here with us we will fight for your human rights)."

DONATE here to send the Revolution Clubs in Chicago and New York City to Washington, DC, to represent for revolution and oppose the fascist thugs who will be celebrating their one-year anniversary of marching in Charlottesville, brutalizing people and killing Heather Heyer! The movement for revolution must be there to struggle to bring forward, and organize around, the solution to this madness: revolution. We will be meeting at the Revolution Club Organizing Center, 1857 E 71st St, Chicago, IL on Friday to send off a caravan to DC. We will announce more details and time to meet soon.
