Friends! Do youknow Chelsea? QiQi? The little girl around the globe waiting to come home and be with our family? My daughter! In my eyes, she was my daughter the day she was born - and it just took time for that perfect moment for the universe to bring us together.
I have been blessed to recieve an older child grant which will be dispersed at a later date. I have also had support on here and on a t-shirt fundraiser.
I changed the overall goal of this gofundme based on what the adoption needs are now that I have been blessed with those contributions.
We ONLY HAVE $1,000 LEFT TO RAISE!!!! IF 20 PEOPLE GAVE $50 this weekend, we could make this CAMPAIGN 100% complete this weekend!
OH - FYI OUR HOMESTUDY IS DONE!!!! That means like the universe and all it's inspectors haha think I am ready for my daughter! I'm going to get very real - my daughter has special needs - needs that I know can be addressed here and that I know are not being addressed where she is at.
Do you know that doctors say she is blind but actually isnt at all? Nope! She has a visual perception disorder that can be worked on here in the US - kind of like with dislexia - its your brain mixing up what you see - not that your eyeballs are googly! Could you imagine being told you are blind when you arent? Her legs are also not working right and at this point she has been put in a wheelchair! SHE CAN WALK! SHE JUST NEEDS MEDICAL ATTENTION AND DEVICES!!!!
The truth is in giving - that people tend to give towards causes of sadness - because they feel the need - like illness or death or hurt animals. The truth in special needs adoption is we have doses of illness and we pray to save well before illness turns grave - but in supporting orphans and adoption, you SAVE LIVES - you change THE WORLD - a dime supporting an orphan could be the dime that buys the plane ticket for the orphan to now come be a daughter!
We need her home and we need no more time to lapse. This final $1,000 will go towards final documentation costs that once complete set everything else in motion and then I just wait for my travel date. While life can change on a dime, I believe I have the balances covered from that point on - to include my travel and the orphanage donation we are required to make.
