Project Wanted: "FREE ABRAHAM"
Abraham Israel is a father of precious children, but they were taken away by his ex wife who hated the fact that he became a Baal Teshuva.
As an opera singer, Abraham's talent can generate thousands of dollars of income, but he lost all his opportunities when he decided to revert to his roots
Hear his beautiful, sweet, powerful voice, begging to his fellow Jewish brothers for help. "I don't want to go to prison".
His ex wife, - who is not religious - took away the kids, and requested from the court that her husband should be forced to ante up an extraordinary amount of money in child support based on the fact that he's an Opera singer.
What the court failed to recognize is that he lost his job in the Opera and there's no way for Abraham to put down such an astronomic amount of money at this point in life.
Arguments to the court fell on deaf ears.
Since losing his job at the Opera Abraham obviously didn't have the money to pay. Friends of Abraham already raised some of the money, but we are still in desperate need of $45,000.
The judge threatened him, on the request of his ex wife, to come up with the money or face prison.
At the same time, Abraham was diagnosed with diabetes, and other health conditions, adding to the tremendous amount of stress he was already under. His golden life turned into a life of anxiety, pain and fear.
The time is ticking. With every passing day, our sweet brother Abraham is a day closer to be thrust into a prison cell with barbaric murders and criminals, for one reason only: because he decided to return to Hashem.
Can we let Abraham down?
