Pamela's Fight Against Cancer

This campaign is to help out my wonderful coworker and very dear friend, Pamela Giese. Pam is one of the strongest women I have known. Pam is a registered nurse in the ER at multiple hospitals in our valley. She is a very compassionate, experienced nurse. She will go all day without food or bathroom breaks to care for her patients. Pam knows first hand that your life can change in an instant and their is no way to prepare.
In April 2016, Pam was diagnosed with a rare small cell adenocarcinoma of the cervix. She recieved this news while at work and she stayed strong, put her nurse face on and continued to care for her patients in the ER as if everything was ok. Pam underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiation.
On October 19th, Pam went in to get her follow up CT scan which was not good news. Chemotherapy and radiation apparently didn't kill it. She now has 12 spots on her lungs, a spot in her brain with a positive biopsy. As you can imagine this was very stressful for all of us. Being that her cancer is so rare, there is not a whole lot of research on it. Pam and her husband have decided to do alternative treaments. Unfortunately she had to quit her job which I know is one of the hardest things that she has ever had to do to focus on her health. The treatments that she is finding are very expensive and unfortunately are not covered by insurance and require payment up front.
Pamela and Noah are facing some very challenging times and I am hoping our community can reach out and help this lovely couple get through these rough times. Anything helps right now. Please donate.
