SHARE THE HARVEST is an annual VOLUNTEER SERVICE opportunity for groups and individuals from all walks of life to COME TOGETHER in the spirit of THANKS and GIVING!Our primary goal is simple: To make sure EVERY person in Newark and BEYOND will have access to a free, hot, full course turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day! The plan is to completely eradicate hunger in our communities.... if only for one day!ANYONE & EVERYONE can participate in some way, by giving of your time, talent or trea$ure!TIME: sign up to volunteer for a few hours on Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving Day by visiting www.JerseyCares.orgTALENT: Shop, cook, bake, serve, drive, make greeting cards, host, greet, promote, decorate, you name it! There is literally SOMETHING for EVERYONE to do!TREA$URE: If you don’t have the time to share your talent, donations are always needed and welcomed. You can choose items to donate from our “Needs List” (under the file tab on our page), OR with monetary support to [email redacted] via PayPal. (Contact us for other donation methods).We also you (or your organization) to help us identify individuals or families to RECEIVE meals. Simply direct them to one of our fine-in Satellite Sites, it complete our Meal Request Form (also under “files” tab).
