Dear PBHS Alumni and Friends,
Greetings PBHS Alumni and Friends. February is here and so is planning for the 2016 Prom Season. As a neighbor and friend to Paint Branch High School in Burtonsville, Maryland, we are asking for your support.
On April 29th, the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) will sponsor a Mardi Gras-themed After-Prom celebration for our students and their guests. The purpose of this event is to provide a safe and fun environment where students can continue celebrating into the early morning hours. Since the majority of our students are provisional drivers, they are not legally permitted to drive between the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Therefore, the PTSA will be providing free food and activities at Paint Branch High School throughout the night.
We believe there are well over 2,000 PBHS alumni nationwide, as well as friends and family, to help us reach our goal. The funds will not only support the After Prom Midnight Miracle, but also our PBHS Education Foundation, year-long student needs and teacher appreciation.
Many great activities are planned; however your financial support is needed to offset expenses for food, decorations, music, entertainment and door prizes. Our fundraising goal is $10,000. With just 1,000 alumni and friends donating $10, the goal is achievable.
