Nigerian Johnny's Education Fund

NIGERIA meets IDAHO!
For a Nigerian to come to America and attend a University is a BIG DEAL!  After being accepted to Idaho State University and obtaining a rarely issued I-20 Student Visa, John Okungbowa from Benin City, Nigeria has recently arrived in America to pursue his life-long dream of a college education and needs our help to accomplish this.

Johnny is the first of his large family to have the opportunity to go to college.  His family in Nigeria is so proud of him but unable to help him financially.   

Our paths crossed with Johnny's in Ghana when he was serving as a 2-Year, Full-time Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Johnny's hopeful, faithful, eager & happy attitude is infectious.  He is deserving of an education that will put him on a whole new trajectory for his future.

The funds that are received here will assist Johnny with his tuition, housing, books, food & secure a computer that acutally works.

Johnny is studying Business Managment. He wants to return to Nigeria after college and make a difference in his nation.  If you meet Johnny, you will feel his ambition to do just that.  

Johnny is humbled and grateful for all the people that have helped him so far but we recognized that he will have a financial shortfall and will need our help in pursuing his educational goal. 

If you saw the movie "Concussion", you know how determined a Nigerian can be.  Johnny is all that and more!
