Natalie's Semester in Florence!
Dearest Friends,
Next semester, I have the extraordinary opportunity to study in one of the most exquisite cities in the world: Florence, Italy. It is a city that is rich with culture, art, and food unlike any other. In addition to all Florence has to offer, the rest of Italy and all of Europe is merely a train ride away.
I have grown up surrounded with two cultures-Egyptian and American-and much of who I am is a result of that unique experience. I know first hand the impact that diversity has on anyone's devolopment. I cannot wait to be exposed to even more nationalities and the personal, as well as artistic, growth that will result from that.
This semester abroad will not only provide me with more learning opportunities than even I can fully comprehend, but I will also get to visit my uncle for the first time in nearly 12 years and meet my young cousins for the first time ever. My uncle and his family have lived in Amsterdam all their lives and I can't wait to finally see them.
With all of the endless rewards this trip will provide, it comes at a high cost. It would mean the world to me if you would consider financially supporting my semester abroad. Believe me when I say that every little bit matters. I have faith that God will provide. As a friend recently remind me "God's will, God's bill!" I would be beyond blessed by any donations, prayers, or good thoughts you could send my way.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Have a magical day!
With Love,
Natalie
