“Follow your dreams and do not waste time on empty things.”

My dreams are to become a talented model, actress, and eventually a doctor. I know that with dedication, hard work, and focus, at the young age of 12 ½, I can reach my goals and make my dreams a reality.
“Passport to Discovery” is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will help jumpstart my life goals. This competition includes workshops on all skills of the modeling and acting industry, as well as a chance to share my talents with hundreds of agencies from acround the world. Competing in “Passport to Discovery” is not all about modeling and acting, with upwards of $350,000 in scholarships awarded; I will even be able to receive scholarships to help me pay for medical school.
In my short twelve years of life I have faced many obstacles, and have proven that I am a tough kid that will work through anything! Just after my 5th birthday, I started having severe headaches and was diaognosed with Chiari I Malformation, a brain deformity that causes the “tonsils” of my brain to press on my spinal cord. I ended up having to have immediate brain surgery, but after only 5 days in the hospital, my mom told me I was begging to go to school and play with my friends! Now, at 12, I was just recently diagnosed with Genetic Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy, where I have been told there is no known cure yet. This condition has my legs and feet in constant pain, sometimes so bad I can’t even walk. Yet, even though I am in pain 24/7 I still insist on playing my favorite hobby, volleyball, and I even just made the 13’s team!
Tyra Banks once said “Don’t chase the money…even if you want to be a banker. Chase the passion. Chase the dream.” “Passport to Discovery” won’t only help me follow my dreams; it will help me reach my goals.
If you can please help me raise the money to follow my dreams, I would be so grateful! All I want for Christmas, Hanukkah, and my 13th birthday is for YOU to donate to my dream of competing in “Passport to Discovery.”
