Habitat For Humanity Fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County is a non-for-profit organization founded in 1978 to allow lower income families the opportunity of homeownership. In exchange for "sweat equity" from sponsor families along with Habitat volunteers; a home will be built, renovated, and repaired for them to live. A zero interest mortgage is provided to new homeowner allowing affordable monthly payments. Over 115+ families have been helped in Jefferson county alone and money needs to be continually raised to keep it going!

Event will take place on February, 21, 2015 as communities 7th annual Mr. Habitat competition. Purpose is too provide a unique fun way to spread awareness of their mission, as well as having an action packed day of competition. As a new member to the Beaumont area, I am extremely excited to participate this year along with seven other dedicated professionals. The afternoon will showcase 5 activities for each participant;

1.Opening Cat Walk Talent Competition
2. Building Competition Auction
3. People’s Choice: The Money
4. Interview Round
5. Crowning of Mr. Habitat 2015!

I believe very strongly in this and ask that all of my family, friends, and co-workers take a second to help support a wonderful cause & help me win! It is especially meaningful to me as a mortgage lender to be a part of making a hard working families dream a reality when they have been so limited in the past. All of your donations big or small will be going directly into paying for materials, professional services, fees, and associated costs that are a part of the building process.
