Sexual Abuse Survivor Empowerment

 In order to empower survivors of sexual assault. I want them to be able to share their stories and to be connected with the organizations in their area that can help them find peace and ways to find rewarding futures despite their pasts. Every donation will be used to offset the expense associated with travel and speaking to groups and organizations.

Morris’s story is my story. I was nearly twelve years old when what became a nearly daily activity that carried on for at least the next four years began. My abuser used manipulation and threats to exude control and take advantage. He told me he did what he did because he loved me. He told me if I told anyone I would be the one who got in trouble. It was my fault. He didn’t have a choice.

I needed to tell the truth in order to heal. I have to share the truth now to help others to heal. I can’t change the past, but I may be able to help others to end or maybe even prevent abuse.
