Help for mom and her two girls

Donation protected
Every now and then we come across an opportunity to truly make a difference in someone's life. This is one of them.
I live in Oakville, Ontario with my own family. I have been intensively involved in helping many Syrian refugee families for over a year. The Canadian Immigration and Citizenship has a special program for private sponsorships of Syrian and Iraqi families and part of this requirement is raising sufficent funds based on the size of the family. I have a dear friend in Toronto who is Syrian and needs help bringing her sister and children to Canada. They are in frequent contact over skype and Facebook and also communicate with us through the sister who is a point of contact and a translator...
The two girls, ages 10 and 16.
Their Mom was an obstetric nurse in a public hospital in Syria before the war started. She takes care of her girls alone, barely makings ends meet, without safety and any future.  After spending a few difficult years in Egypt as refugees, they had to relocate again, this time residing in Turkey. They have no other family members with them who can help. The reunification through Canada Immigration is not possible at the moment, even though her sister and parents are  in Toronto. They are eager to help with accommodation, but are not in a position to sponsor the three of them, arriving recently themselves. The daughter of 16 had to leave school and works 12 hours a day in a bakery to support her mom and sister. Mom is trying to make money with some basic sawing at home, as it is not safe to leave girls at home alone. Their lives are on hold, their schooling had stopped and trauma from war and loss of family members is still with them.  Life for any refugee in Turkey is hard these days. It’s even harder for a single mom with two girls.
Please help us raise funds for them and bring them to Canada! We have only a short time until mid September when immigration requirements may change for Syrians. Every dollar donated and raised will be used to cover the expenses of their first year in Canada. The money will be used to cover costs of their shelter, food, furniture as needed, clothes, schools and daily expenses.
For the family of three we are required by Immigration Canada to present a total of 23 000 dollars including in-kind donations which we also hope to have.  We have two goals: Immediate and urgent one of 11 000 dollars that includes in kind donations and a total goal of
23 000 that would take us all the way. We have opened a bank account signed by two signatories with refugee mother indicated as benefactor. The funds will be distributed to the family on the monthly basis upon their arrival to Canada. The proof of bank account with secured funds must be provided to Canada Immigration office in Winnipeg.
Like you, we want to make the world a better place.
We see this as an opportunity to do what we can – to make a difference. As a private sponsoring group that came together for this cause, we also want to show what human compassion can do!
We have done it before, for other families sponsored to Canada and we can see how thankful they are and how willing to assimilate and contribute to Canadian life and economy.
Please help us see these beautiful, hopeful girls in a picture and their mom smile again.
