Volunteering in Cuba

Hello Freinds and Family,


I've been invited to volunteer with an Non-Profit called Amigo Skate Cuba from Jan. 6th-12th 2016.
As you may know I'm dedicated to women's empowerment and youth outreach, and by having a woman like myself there who paints and skates, I hope to teach the local kids about both subcultures. My aim is to show these youth the possibilities out there, and what potential the future holds for them.


I am asking for help with funding to pay for my flight to Cuba.
With my Birthday coming up, If you would like to get me anything for my Birthday - a monetary donation (however small) that could go towards this upcoming project is what I am asking for.

I have till Jan 4th,  to get the funding towards my flight.

A little about the organization:
Among other things, Amigo Skate Cuba collects unwanted or broken skateboard equipment, then rebuilds, up-cycles, refurbishes and then donates the equipment back to kids in the community and those in need of skateboards. As well as providing new and used skateboard equipment, they gather a wide variety of action sports gear, music equipment and art supplies.

Their main mission is to provide an outlet for kids to express themselves.


With every $60 dontaion in the US you will receive a Meme print with a few stickers.
