Maddisons Wishes ❤️

This is my 8 year old daughter Maddison , maddie is terminally ill with a brain tumour a nasty cancer called Glioblastoma Multiforme or GBM4 for short she’s been battling this for the last 18 months she has had 2 x 12 hour operations to try and remove the tumour , she has had 30 sessions of Radiotherapy and 10 months of intense Chemotherapy taking oral temozolimide none of which has helped she had a pioneer operation in December just 1 week before Xmas to try a new drug called the pink drink which makes the tumour glow u see a uv filter to help the surgeons to remove more of the cancer she then had Glio Wafers inserted which a like discs the size of a 10p coin which release chemo directly into the tumour site we had a MRI scan in February to see how it was working but sadly the operation wasn’t successful and the cancer had started to regrow , we rescanned in May and the tumour had grown rapidly covering almost 50% of the frontal lobes of the brain , palliative care was started and maddison was given the prognosis of months left to live , week by week we can see the deterioration in her she’s becoming weaker and less able to walk and her time with us is becoming very limited now she’s exhausted most of the time and just wants to rest and watch tv. A lot of people have asked me if they can buy her something and asked what she needs we’ll in all honesty she doesn’t need anything we have more toys and teddies than a toy shop which she never picks up lots are still unopened from her birthday and Xmas she has no interest in them and no energy to sit and play she has lots of clothes so doesn’t need those either so I’ve decided to set up a new fund for her and if people wish to buy her something then I would ask if they could donate the money to her fund instead so it can be pooled together and maybe take her away on one last holiday in her caravan if there are any funds left they will obviously go towards her funeral costs and give her the best send off ever . Thanks for reading and I will keep updating this page as the weeks go on I don’t know how much time we have left it could be a few weeks or if we are lucky a few months more but this cancer is very aggressive and grows rapidly so things can change very quickly x
