If you know me, you know my passion for a career in acting & film making has been a life-long pursuit and a very challenging one with some minor success so far. In fact, my photo is from a film I made myself (more about film as a donation gift below).
A big break!
I am happy to announce I recently auditioned and was accepted to showcase for 100 top agents, managers and casting directors at the Actors, Models & Talent For Christ six-day showcase in Orlando, FL in July 2014 (http://amtcworld.com)! Many success stories have come out of this and, having put in about 30 years of training and auditioning for acting myself, I am ready for this exceptional opportunity.
I was given $2700 in financial aide from AMTC toward the total $4495 (that includes professional training for the showcase and a photo shoot). My remaining balance I have to pay is $1795 for the showcase. In addition, I will need to put aside about $400 for round-trip airfare to Orlando, FL and about $150 a night for six nights for hotel & food expense. So it comes to roughly $4000 I calculated needing, rounding up. I've put in donation levels but anything at all is helpful! The film and book I mention giving out are my recent works. The film is a 1/2 hour Christian film I wrote, directed and starred in called "Lost & Found: The Book of Dana" and my book, The Branded Heart (I just finished the first draft so should be printed in another month). It's 100-some page historical fiction novel about a modern-day woman who wakes up on a ranch in 1874! I hope to also make this into a film and have some publishing interest as well already!
