Kids Crew - Lighthouse of Pinellas

NEXT PROJECT: The Kids Crew will be supporting the pediatric program at the Lighthouse of Pinellas . The Lighthouse serves children who are blind or visually impaired. All funds raised will help to pay for gifts to be given to the children of the program at the Breakfast with Santa event on December 12th.
The Kids Crew is a group of kids that do good things for children with medical needs and their families.
The group meets once a month to discuss what they would like to do in the future and then they work on their current project. It is a wonderful way for kids to work together to learn about giving back. The kids learn about needs within the community and then decide which organization, family or individual they will support.
Past Projects
*Ronald McDonald House collection boxes. The crew collected over 20 boxes full of supplies on the wish list of the houses in Tampa Bay.
*High Risk Hope - The crew raised funds to purchase Keepsake Handprint/Footprint Kits to give to famililes of babies at the local NICU.
*Created Care Kits for children receiving chemotherapy treatments at All Children's Hospital.
* Designed Get Well Cards for children staying at All Children's Hospital in Saint Petersburg, FL
* Created 80 Gift Bags for moms staying at local Ronald McDonald Houses of Tampa Bay on Mothers Day
* Raised funds to support Wheelchairs 4 Kids - The crew purchased a $1300 adaptive bike for a wonderful little girl named Lilliann
* Holding "Lemonade for Livy" stands in July to raise money to support the Epilepsy Foundation of America to to help fund research for a cure
