Liv Returns As A Volunteer To Gosford Hospital
Hi, my name is Liv and I need your help raising $3000 for Ripple Movement who look after the sick children at Gosford Hospital. I’ll be dressing up as a character and having some fun, for more information read below...
THE CHARITY:
Ripple Movement is a local charity focused on entertaining and cheering up children with care packages, toys, arts/crafts, books, bubbles and many other things. This is all done while someone is dressed as one of their favourite character or super hero, which we all know can bring a lot of happiness into children lives! Ripple Movement also financially supports Ronald McDonald House Gosford family room.
MY STORY:
I have been a patient both at Westmead Kids & Gosford hospital since 2016.
Going into hospital can be a very scary experience weather it’s your first time or your tenth time. Whenever I was in Gosford it was non profit organisations like Ripple Movement, Clown Doctors and Starlight that made my hospital stays just that little bit easier.
Now that I am 18, my wish is to help out, give back and bring joy to the sick kids on the Central Coast. Being in hospital is hard! But I honestly believe that laughing and smiling is always the best form of therapy.
I’ll be running in the City 2 Surf on the 11th of August, exactly 3 years after being diagnosed with my neurological disorder. You can support me by donating, this will help motivate me and help the children in hospital. Thank you very much!
