Support Leicester Uni Voices

Leicester University Voices (LUV) is a gospel and inspirational choir seeking to provide a fun, loving environment for students to express themselves through music. We are a group of students that are passionate about music, welcoming singers and musicians of all abilities encouraging musical growth and development. We believe that anyone that can talk can sing, all you need is a little bit of practice.

Founded in December 2011 by Chidozie Nwachuku, LUV has been growing and thriving ever since. We are more than just a group of singers meeting up for rehearsals, we are a family that encourages and supports one another in the new environment that is university. Our biggest achievements to date are winning University Gospel Choir of the Year (UGCY) 2015, runners up in 2016 and finalists for the 2017 competition.

We are raising money to support the development of the choir. By covering transport costs to performances, purchasing instruments and media equipment and hiring vocal training we can continue to better ourselves. And with your help, we can reach larger audiences excelling our musical journeys and spreading the gospel message.
