This campaign is to support an organization that many of us at LinkedIn Canada has come to know - CivicAction.
CivicAction's work is focused on helping the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area be a vibrant and inclusive place to live and work.
Over the last two years, LinkedIn Canada has partned with CivicAction on three events - YouthConnect 2014 and 2015 as well as our Toronto Economic Graph study.
CivicAction recently recieved its charity status to help fund its leadership development programs - namely DiverseCity Fellows - a 12 month intensive training program for civic leadrs and the Emerging Leaders Network - a group of ~1000 professionals who are committed to working together to help make our region stronger. I co-chair the Emerging Leaders Network and know what great impact it can have (by the way, you all can joint is as well!).
We at LinkedIn know how important developing talent is. Think about investing in CivicAction as investing in civic leadership building.
