Kristin Smart Essay Campaign

Kristin Smart was abducted over 20 years ago on May 25th, 1996 after last being seen on the campus of Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.

Kristin has never been found. We want to keep Kristin's memory alive and the best way to do that is to educate the next generation that a student is still missing and she deserves to be searched for.

Our goal is to educate the students thru a weekly lecture series where we cover the basics of Kristin's case and ask the students to submit essays, volunteer to hand out bumper stickers, design T-Shirts and share Kristin's story via social media.

We have the design of the bumper stickers already paid for - we just need to purchase more to replenish the ones already given away. Same goes for the flyers. The students will design the T-Shirts.

The 'Kristin Smart Essay Campaign' is open to all  Arroyo Grande High School and Arroyo Grande Community School students to be held thru the months of September and October.

You donation will help us educte the next generation of residents in the Arroyo Grande area about Kristin's case.

Dennis Mahon will be in charge of the funds and I will use the funds to pay for the ongoing costs of supplies which include bumber-stickers, flyers, copy costs of the essays at the printers and to pay deposits for our lecture halls as needed. 

I am a close friend of Kristin Smarts family and I have been actively searching for Kristin since 1997.
