Karisa's Unkown Battle In Japan

Aloha,
Since July of this year (2016) a sweet little girl, Karisa, has been stuck in a hospital over in Japan in hopes of discovering why she is so sick. She is only 12 years old and is keeping such a positive attitude. She's trying her hardest to stay strong for her mom and dad, but that shouldn't be a 12 year old's focus at this important time in her life. She wishes to be heathy and out and about trick or treating with her friends and family this Halloween. Instead she is giving blood samples constantly, hooked up to an IV, and yet they don't know what's causing her ailments. Karisa is suffering from a swollen colon, unidentified source of blood in her stool, severe pains, iron deficiency, and hemoglobin anemia. They cannot find a reason for her illness and pain so they are constantly running tests. She was just transferred to a new hospital for further observation, but that put Karisa 3 hours further from her family which is adding an even bigger strain on the family emotionally and financially.

We are friends of Karisa's father Mack and feel his struggle and pain in the current situation. We are starting this GoFundMe account in hopes to alleviate some of the financial burden this family is facing. It's so difficult for a family to ask for help in times like this but we understand how important help is.
