STEM Field Trip!!

Since 2012, Women in Homeland Security (WHS) a 501(c)(3) organization staffed purely by volunteers, has been connecting students with exciting hands-on field trips related to homeland and national security. With minimal poster boards and no lecturing, WHS focuses on bringing "the coolest STEM out there" to our next generation of STEM leaders. Geared toward kids who may not realize the many exciting STEM opporutunities that are available to them and extending the possibilities for those who do, WHS works with both the public and private sector to feature the latest advancements to support the most pressing issues -- cyber security, drones, robotics, weaponry, mission support, martime engineering, and much more.
As the WHS youth STEM Ambassador, I need donations and sponsorships for our STEM program to expand. From pizza to transportation to STEM "flair" -- I want to be sure our program provides the best, "coolest" experience to our participants.
Your donation directly funds the addition of students and schools to our field trips. Your donation helps us add more schools, provide transportation for schools that cannot afford it, and expand our infrastructure to support our growing program! For example, for 150-170 kids:
$1000 -- funds a field trip! Pizza lunch, fun STEM "bling," A/V and other equipment are all covered with a generous $1000 donation;
$500 -- buys kids pizza! Not only are kids enlightened with cool STEM they get a great lunch on you!
$250-- gets the students some great bling to remind them of the STEM opportunites out there!
As a sponsor of $1000 or more, you would receive recognition on our website (if desired) and in our STEM and organizational newsletter, in addition to the benefits below. As a supporter providing gifts under $1000, you would recieve a special inviation to the WHS STEM expo at the BBQ Cook off in the Fall and a special newsletter updating you on our progress, the number of kids served, and the latest developments in our STEM program. Your gift is also tax deductible.
