Kenosha School of Technology Enhanced Curriculum (KTEC) is a preK-grade 8 public school that engages all students in an innovative learning environment, preparing students for success in a global society through academic excellence by the use of 21st Century skills and technology integration.
During the 2016-2017 school year, KTEC is opening a state-of-art Innovation Lab providing a space for students to engage in STEM activities and create innovating projects. With the addition of a Glowforge 3D Laser Printer, our students will be able to actuallly build their ideas and designs.
This machine can be used by all students starting in kindergarten. It cuts and etches a variety of materials. You need to see it to believe it. Watch the video below.
With these funds we can purchase a printer that will be used by all KTEC students for years to come.
The Innovation Lab should be open and running in November 2016. Help us have this great resource ready to go from day one!
