My name is Zachary and I am 13 years old. I just lost my Dad - Stuart Katz to a massive heart attack on September 9, 2015. He was taken away from me too soon. I always pictured him standing next to me forever, watching me, coaching me, shooting and winning with me, and watching me in the Olympics which has been my dream and goal.
My Dad and I joined 2 shooting teams and loved shooting together. Every Wednesday and Sunday we would practice. My Dad even became a coach for the kids team. We went to the State Championships in Kingsburg, CA this past June and he was so excited to be coaching the team.

It is difficult focusing on my shooting since my Dad was always next to me. If we weren't shooting he was coaching myself and other kids. I miss him everyday. We had some great times seeing who would be the Champion at night shoots. My Dad loved it when the kids would "shoot a hat" at the kids practices.

My Dad was always my "Buddy" when we had buddy back up shoots and we won either 1st or 2nd place.

Dad, you were the best person in the whole entire world. None of the people in the galaxy will ever compare to you. I will always remember you and I will always remember the last words we said together. I said "I love you Dad" and you said "I love you too boy".
The thing I will miss the most is having you around the house and listening to your voice, seeing your face and kissing you every night. You are in a better place now and remember what you said, you said you want me to go the Olympics and get Gold and to be on the Wheaties box. I will do it just for you Daddy. I love you so very much.

I am hoping that people will remember how wonderful my Dad was and how he was always there to help others and that you will help me with my goal.
The money that is raised will help me compete in ATA, SCTP and State and National competitons and more importantly, my goal of going to the Olympics.
