In memory of Inayah Ahmed

On the 20th of April our beloved inayah went back to our creator. She was the life and soul of the family. Without her laughter and antics, everything seems so dull. But inayah left us with many lessons in her short space of time with us. One of them being to hold each and every one of your family members close to your heart. In memory of inayah I want to make a difference to the lives of other children who may not have the benefits of the health care that we take for granted.
The aim is to fundraise for "Medical
Aid for Palestine (MAP)". I am currently studying in glasgow and always had a passion for medical aid which is delivered across the world. MAP are a charity which i highly respect and trust. The funds will be used to buy and provide the medical aid needed at the Al Shifah hospital. I am hoping to donate 10k, in full amount, to the charity themselves via bank transfer.
Once a month a team of surgical specialists leave their familiar surroundings at King’s College Hospital, London to travel to Gaza. During these week-long visits they work alongside the Palestinian surgical team in Gaza’s al-Shifa hospital. Together, despite the shocking scarcity of supplies, space and equipment, they rebuild the shattered limbs of people who were caught up in Israel’s devastating 51-day assault last summer.
These surgeons are doing vital, life-saving work for the casualties of Israel’s shocking attacks. They have been making regular trips to Gaza since before last August’s ceasefire and it is essential that these trips continue throughout 2016. Every penny donated is in the name of inayah and with this mere attempt to save the lives of others, may Allah reunite us with our inayah in Jannah.
