Water For Flint Fundraiser
Im sure many of you are aware of the ongoing crisis in Flint, Michigan.
If you’re not: The City of Flint decided to switch the city’s water supply from a clean pipeline at Lake Huron, to the Flint River. This river is not only a highly contaminated water source, but it is also run through an extremely outdated piping system that contains large amounts of lead.
From this minute on, we will be working to hold a fundraiser to send clean water directly to the people in Flint, Michigan until March 1st. Our goal is to raise $1,000 dollars through online donations and fundraising at shows and events. Any donations received will be used to order as much clean water as possible, and have it sent directly to Flint Emergency Services.

Who we are:
We are a music community and record label called Intelligent Sound, we are based out of the Kansas City area. We are horrified and disgusted by the actions of the Flint goverment and and their lack of care for the human condition. with our strenght in numbers and networks we are striving to raise as much money as possible to send water and water filters to the people of Flint.
We intened to use every dollar we recive (less the fees taken by gofundme) from this campaign to purchase water and filters online and ship them directly to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 2300 Lapeer Rd.
For every $100 dollars donated an Intelligent Sound artists will be giving away things like free downloads, new music, or a free .zip discography. Every person who donates, whether $1 or $100, will be entered into our grand finale drawing that will include gifts of music and merch from Intelligent Sound, as well as other labels, and collectives from around the country.
