Student Travel to ISTE Conference

The ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) conference is the largest gathering of technologists and educators and attracts close to 20,000 attendees each year from all over the world.
This year, our Desert View High School and Challenger Middle School students have been selected from thousands of submitted proposals to demonstrate how our student tech teams and summer internships play a critical role in maintaining our technology initiatives in the Sunnyside Unified School District.
This is an amazing opportunity for our students to not only tell their story, but to learn from other educators and gain professional experience in building towards their goal of a career in the field of technology. But in order to make it to Denver this summer, our students need your help. We will need to raise funds to cover travel, lodging, and food for our student team to attend this amazing three day event. Our students have the knowledge, drive and resources to amaze those in attendance. The only thing they are missing is the funds to make their dream a reality!
