IPURR, Central Coast Cat Colonies
Donation protected
My name is Ananda Holloway. My good friend Lori and I have been feeding & fixing Feral cats for some 20+ years. It is a never-ending thankless job, except for the loving grateful cats that we have helped.
The amount of cats we help has grown over the years , People often dump cats and kittens in our managed colonies , which means all the cats there are fixed. Then our spaying / neutering process has to start all over again . It is a constant struggle with thoughtless people dumping unwanted tame and feral cats in towns throughout our county every year .
With your help we can keep these cats from going into the already overcrowded Animal Services and being killed. We rehome any tame ones that come our way and the Feral cats get fixed then returned to what we call managed colonies. There they are fed and watered daily and monitored for any new arivals . Feral colonies keep the numbers down at animal services and eventually the cats get old and die out .
The food , altering and medical care we provide comes directly from our pockets. The food alone costs $200-$300 monthly. We feed and water some 100+ feral cats per day driving to 4 to 6 locations daily, rain or shine.
We are asking for donations to help us feed these cats on an ongoing basis as this has become to much for us to continue doing without help .
All money donated will be used directly to provide the feral cats with healthy food and water daily .
Animals are very important and cats for over 100 years have played an important roll in keeping rodents , mice and rats for getting into many humans food sources . Cats hold a very special place in my heart, and providing for these cats is my way of giving back.
Your generous donation will help relieve our financial burden, and help us devote as much time and energy as possible to the ones who need us the most.
