Hoover Family Memorial & Baby Fund

As you probably know, our precious little man, Jett Gallaway Hoover, passed away on August 17 at 22.5 weeks gestation.  His mom and dad, Summer and Andy, in the midst of the trials of premature labor and the grief of losing their son, have been incredibly faithful and hopeful people, believing that God went before them in these events and that He has plans for their future.     

While Summer and Andy were in the hospital before Summer gave birth to Jett, she received intense medical treatment including consultations with several neonatal specialists and obstetricians, an ambulance transfer with full neonatal team from McKinney Medical Center to Plano, daily sonograms to see Jett’s positioning, progesterone and other injections to keep her from contracting, and preparation for Jett’s delivery by the neonatal team.  Once she delivered, Summer, Andy, and Jett were able to spend intimate time together at the hospital experiencing how perfectly God formed him in her womb.  On August 27th, our family and close friends gathered together to celebrate Jett’s life and the blessing he is to even those who didn’t know him.  In the wise words of Summer and Andy’s pastor, Jett has paved the way for siblings:  because of his birth, Summer’s doctors know of her condition.  With preventative medical procedures, she will be able to carry full term and have brothers and sisters for little Jett.  In the event of a future pregnancy and any thereafter, Summer will need a first-trimester surgery, extra ultrasounds, and weekly progesterone shots that may not be covered by insurance.  As you might imagine, these future expenses paired with their current memorial and medical expenses will be costly.
