We have opened up a fundraising account on behalf of our dear colleagues Heather Young and Henry Chang. Heather and Henry live in West Orange with their two sons, Henry and Derrick. They have both worked in the West Orange school district for many years. Heather works as an art teacher at the high school and Henry has worked with the special needs population for many years, in particular the autism program. Heather and Henry have recently received devastating news regarding the health of their eldest son, Henry.
BACKGROUND:
In August 2015, Henry, their 4 year old son, was diagnosed with stage IV high-risk Neuroblastoma cancer. The cancer has spread throughout his body and in his bone marrow. Since then, Henry has begun many tests and treatments in order to beat this cancer out of his body.
THE NEED:
Although majority of Henry’s medical expenses are covered through insurance, we are gathering funds to assist in the many anticipated expenses that will come with travel and treatment. Henry and Heather also ask that if you cannot contribute monetarily, please send a prayer for Henry Jr. and his recovery.
