As you all know, Thomas Pitt BBQ closed unexpectedly at 4:00pm on Thursday, October 9th. This left the employees we have all known and loved for years unemployed with very little notice. Most of these employees have worked at Thomas BBQ for 30 or 40+ years and it is all they have ever known. From Sara, Rita, Theresa, Tatiana to the guys in the smokehouse and everyone in between, these people made Thomas Pit BBQ what we all loved. Now they are heartbroken and unemployed. Thomas BBQ was more than just a job to them - it was home, it was family, it was their livelihood, and we all felt that every time we walked in the door. We'd like to show them support, help them until they find new employment, and say "thank you" for their many years of warming our hearts and filling our bellies!!
