Help Santa serve the homeless

Since 2006, The Seattle Santa and long-time friend and homeless advocate Allena Gabosch have been bringing holiday greetings to thousands of homeless kids, families and individuals throughout the Seattle area. Joined by a group of friendly volunteer Elves, every Christmas Eve Santa, Allena and their troupe hit the streets to pass out care packages to the homeless.

Seattle Santa's and Allena's charitable work with local homeless individuals and families has been entirely self-funded through paying gigs at retail locations and holiday events. But this year, given the city’s increasing homeless crisis, Santa and Allena are reaching out to the community in order to be able to do even more.

Our goal this year is to raise $7,000! With this money, we can make more care packages than ever before!

“We handed out more than 400 gift bags last Christmas Eve, but it wasn’t nearly enough to meet demand,” says Santa. “We’re planning to more than double that number this season, and sadly it may still not be enough.”

Seattle Santa will be at Ballard Brothers Seafood most weeknights and weekends to take pictures and collect donations as well.
